What Happened? The Short Version

Posted: November 6th, 2009 | Author: heather | Filed under: Uncategorized | 6 Comments »

Understandably, many hundreds of people who worried and prayed for Meghan and her family over the past week are curious to know what happened to Meg and how she came home. While we are still gathering pieces of the story, and we want to protect the family as much as possible as they start to heal, we want to share the short version right now.

Last August, as Meghan was helping outat the county fair, she met a predatory young woman. This young woman planned to take Meg, and she and her friends cultivated Meg over a period of several weeks, drawing her into their activities until finally she was lured out last Sunday night and not allowed to return.

The predator played with Brenda, contacting her to lie about where Meg might be and who she might be with. Once the truth filtered through from other sources, Brenda lured Predator to their home, where the police were waiting. Another policeman followed tips to where Meg was and brought her home. Now the healing begins.

Over 4700 people have visited this page in the past few days. Thank you for your interest, your information, and your prayers!!!

She is a very beautiful girl, Red hair is always alluring. I hate to think what the intentions were of the predatory female. Every year thousands of young girls get abducted into prostitution rings, to sometimes, never come back. Good thing she sticks out like a sore thumb around here and that she is safely home. Our daughters are precious to us, and while we trust our daughters we cannot trust the world. I hope to read more about this story and the predator so that other girls can heed warning to the realities young women face every day, In America and right here on our beloved island. Mahalo, God Bless and Aloha.
